Samsung introduced a new hybrid tablet in Korea recently, the SENS-240. It syncs with an Android-powered Samsung handset or tablet using Bluetooth to allow for voice calls, data, and video. The seven-inch tablet also works like a portable navigation device with dedicated GPS software.
It is powered by a 1.43GHz processor, gets 256MB of RAM, and an 800x480 screen resolution. A USB 2.0 host port and an SD card slot are present as well. Koreans get a DMB TV tuner to catch over-the-air broadcasts. A paired smartphone can remotely control the SENS-240 as well through dedicated apps.
Pricing is unknown, as are release dates, though it will be confined to Korea only for the near future.
